Placements24 is seeking a Distribution Operations Manager in Bloemfontein to oversee warehouse and distribution networks within a hybrid work model. You will drive efficiency, cost reductions, and service quality while leading a diverse distribution team.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years in warehouse/distribution management, with strong WMS and leadership capabilities. This position offers on-site engagement and strategic planning from a remote setting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in warehouse and distribution management.
Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage a diverse workforce.
Strong understanding of WMS and inventory control principles.
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Experience with transportation logistics and route optimization is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Manage daily warehouse and distribution center operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory management and order fulfillment processes.
Lead, train, and mentor warehouse and distribution staff.
Monitor KPIs and implement improvements to meet operational goals.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the distribution environment.
