Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Operations Manager to lead our logistics and distribution operations in East London. You will drive warehouse performance, optimize the transport network, and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining service levels in a hybrid work environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in logistics leadership, experience with WMS/TMS, and a strong track record of improving efficiency, safety, and reliability across the distribution network.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee all logistics and distribution operations, including warehousing, transportation, and inventory management.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance delivery performance.
• Manage and mentor the logistics and distribution team, fostering a culture of productivity and safety.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to optimize the flow of goods.
• Monitor KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
