Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a data-focused BI specialist to drive data transformation across SQL-based architectures and ZAP BI solutions. You will build certified datasets, frame business objectives for AI agents, and establish data governance to enable self-service analytics across the enterprise.

As part of the Systems team, the role is hybrid (one day a week in-office in Paarl) and offers exposure to Power BI, APIs, data warehouses, and cloud platforms while providing growth into central data

Qualifications

• Experience with BI and analytics initiatives.
• Ability to translate business needs into data solutions.
• Strong understanding of data modelling concepts.
• Familiarity with APIs and data warehouses.
• Exposure to cloud data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize BI dashboards, reports, and data models.
• Extract, transform, and analyze data from SQL databases, APIs, and data warehouses.
• Collaborate with business users to translate needs into actionable analytics.
• Automate data flows and improve governance across datasets.
• Frame business questions for AI agents and validate outputs for accuracy.
• Support data governance practices and a single semantic layer for stakeholders.
• Contribute to integration and data warehouse projects across internal systems.
