Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a capable Data Analyst in Cape Town to analyse and report on financial and operational data, delivering insights to support decision-making. The role emphasizes data quality, stakeholder collaboration, and creating actionable reports using SAP BusinessObjects.

You will engage with business units, develop recurring and ad-hoc reports, and help implement data-driven improvements across processes. A bachelor's degree and 3+ years' analytics experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 is a minimum requirement.
• Relevant Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Business, Statistics or related field.
• 3+ years of data analytics experience with reporting focus.
• At least 2 years of report development and data-driven solutions.
• Exposure to SAP BusinessObjects or other BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data and present information to measure performance against objectives.
• Produce high-priority recurring and ad-hoc reports to support initiatives.
• Improve data quality and document data handling best practices.
• Assess results vs budgets and evaluate proposed strategies.
• Create compliance reports identifying discrepancies with policies and controls.
• Engage with stakeholders to design analytics and reporting solutions.
• Facilitate interviews/workshops to evaluate processes and requirements.
• Resolve data analysis, audit, access and reporting issues with stakeholders.
• Identify trends and provide insights for decision-making.
