Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Construction Planner and Scheduler for a hybrid role in Benoni. You will develop, implement, and maintain detailed project schedules, working closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure timely completion.

Responsibilities include identifying critical path activities, managing schedule risks, and providing regular progress reports. The ideal candidate has a strong background in construction sequencing, resource allocation, and analytics

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in construction planning and scheduling.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project or similar.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and resource allocation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication with project teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Analyze requirements, scope and constraints to create logical timelines.
• Identify critical path activities and schedule risks; develop mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with site teams and subcontractors for progress updates and revisions.
• Prepare schedule progress reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Monitor performance against baseline schedule and adjust as needed.
