Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Community Program Coordinator for the East London area. You will design, implement, and oversee community programs that meet local needs, engage residents, and promote social well-being.

Qualifications

• Degree in Social Sciences, Community Development, or related field.
• Proven experience in program coordination or management.
• Strong organizational, project management, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and public speaking abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse groups and build consensus.
• Familiarity with East London community and its needs is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute community outreach programs and events.
• Coordinate with volunteers, staff, and partner organizations to ensure program delivery.
• Develop program materials, including promotional content and informational resources.
• Monitor program activities, collect feedback, and evaluate outcomes against objectives.
• Manage program budgets and ensure efficient resource allocation.
