Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Community Development, Sociology, Communications, Public Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in community engagement, stakeholder relations, or related field.
• Proven experience in planning and facilitating community events and consultations.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive community engagement plans and strategies.
• Organise and facilitate community meetings, workshops, focus groups, and public forums.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, local organisations, and residents.
• Act as a primary point of contact for community inquiries and feedback.
• Identify community needs, priorities, and opportunities for collaboration.
• Develop communication materials to inform and engage the community.
• Represent the organisation at community events and stakeholder meetings.
• Document engagement activities, outcomes, and feedback for reporting purposes.
• Support the development of community-based projects and initiatives.
