Job summary

Placements24 is actively seeking an experienced Commercial Van Driver to operate from Centurion, Gauteng. You will plan routes, deliver and collect parcels to business and residential addresses, and ensure service levels meet client expectations.

The role blends on-road duties with remote administrative tasks, supported by dispatch. A valid Code 08/EB license, 3+ years driving, and strong communication are essential; hybrid work is available for routing and documentation.

Qualifications

• Valid Code 08/EB or higher driver's license with clean record.
• Minimum 3 years professional driving experience with vans or light trucks.
• Strong knowledge of the Centurion, Gauteng road network.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage remote admin tasks.
• Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and delivery apps.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pickup parcels within Centurion and surrounding areas.
• Plan and execute daily delivery routes efficiently.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery to commercial/residential addresses.
• Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Handle loading/unloading and verify order accuracy.
• Collect signatures and payments when required.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and professional appearance.
• Communicate delivery status with dispatch and customers.
• Use handheld devices for tracking and proof of delivery.
