Qualificações

• Valid driver’s license Code 08/EB with clean driving record.
• PDP is an advantage.
• Minimum 3 years of professional driving experience, preferably in courier/delivery.
• Good knowledge of Vereeniging area and surrounding regions.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication.
• Familiar with navigation tools and GPS devices.

Responsabilidades

• Operate a commercial van safely and efficiently for deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload packages, ensuring they are handled carefully and secured appropriately within the vehicle.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including proof of delivery signatures and collection of any required documentation.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
• Provide polite and professional customer service during delivery interactions.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding delivery progress, delays, or any challenges encountered.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
• Assist with sorting and organizing packages at the local depot when not actively on delivery routes.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license (Code 08/EB or higher) with a clean driving record.
• A Professional Driver's Permit (PDP) is an advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional driver, preferably in a courier or delivery role.
• Good knowledge of the Vereeniging area and surrounding regions.
• Ability to lift and carry packages up to 20kg.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong customer service orientation and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet strict delivery deadlines.
