Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a supervisory role in cleaning/sanitation.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a cleaning team.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment and safety procedures.
• Experience with scheduling and inventory management.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Hybrid work capability with on-site presence in Port Elizabeth and remote admin tasks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate cleaning staff across multiple locations in Port Elizabeth.
• Conduct on-site inspections for quality, safety, and protocol adherence.
• Train new staff on procedures, safety guidelines, and equipment use.
• Manage cleaning supplies inventory and cost-effective purchasing.
• Develop and implement efficient cleaning schedules and routes.
• Address cleaning-related issues or complaints promptly.
• Maintain records of staff performance, inventory, and inspections.
• Collaborate with facility managers and clients to meet requirements.
• Ensure safe working environment and health and safety compliance in the Eastern Cape.
