Job summary

SS&C Technologies in Bellville, Cape Town, is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to join our team. You will analyze business processes, capture requirements, and translate them into technical specifications that guide development.

You will partner with developers, QA, and architects throughout the software lifecycle, create BRDs and use cases, support UAT, and help train users on new systems. This hybrid role offers diverse, inclusive culture and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in software development.
Experience with SDLC and Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
Excellent written and verbal communication, able to articulate business needs to technical teams.
Proficiency in creating BRDs, functional specs, and use cases.

Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth analysis of existing processes, workflows, and systems to identify inefficiencies and areas for enhancement.
Gather, document, and prioritise business requirements from stakeholders through interviews, workshops, and surveys.
Translate business requirements into clear functional and non-functional specifications for development teams.
Develop and maintain documentation including use cases, process flows, data models, and system diagrams.
Collaborate with developers, QA, and architects throughout the SDLC to ensure requirements are understood and implemented.
Participate in testing activities, including creating test cases and UAT.
