Placements24 in Tembisa is seeking a Broadcast Production Assistant to support daily production operations across on-site and remote shoots. You will help coordinate schedules, assist with pre-production tasks, and ensure smooth collaboration between departments in a fast-paced Arts & Entertainment environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a production assistant or similar role within Arts & Entertainment.
• Familiarity with broadcast or film production workflows and terminology.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a dynamic setting.
• Proficiency with standard office software; basic video editing skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist producers and directors with pre-production tasks such as research, scheduling, and location scouting.
• Coordinate logistics for shoots, including equipment, talent, and crew arrangements.
• Provide on-set support during filming, ensuring smooth operations and schedules.
• Manage and organize production assets and documentation both physically and digitally.
• Handle administrative duties like call sheets, expense reports, and communications logs.
