Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Broadcast Producer for an on-site role in Centurion. You will manage end-to-end live broadcast productions, coordinating with technical crews, talent, and stakeholders to deliver seamless broadcasts.

Responsibilities include pre-production planning, budgeting, on-site execution, and post-production wrap-up. You will supervise crews, manage schedules, and troubleshoot issues under pressure to ensure broadcast quality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Broadcast Producer with a strong portfolio of live event productions.
• Strong knowledge of broadcast technologies across video, audio, lighting and transmission systems.
• Excellent project management skills to handle budgets and schedules.
• Clear leadership and communication abilities in diverse production teams.
• Ability to remain calm and make critical decisions under pressure in live broadcasts.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of live broadcast production from planning to post-production wrap-up.
• Coordinate with directors, camera operators, sound engineers and crew to ensure high production standards.
• Oversee talent management, including scheduling and briefings for on-air performance.
• Develop and manage production schedules, ensuring deadlines are met and efficiency is maintained.
• Liaise with clients to understand vision and ensure content meets expectations.
• Troubleshoot technical and logistical issues during live broadcasts with quick, effective solutions.
