Placements24 is seeking an experienced Agile Project Manager to oversee the development and implementation of new financial systems in Kimberley, Northern Cape. You will lead agile teams, manage lifecycles, and ensure integration with existing platforms.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in project management with agile focus, strong knowledge of FAIS/FICA, and a CSM/PSM certification. Hybrid work arrangement and competitive benefits are offered in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years in project management, with at least 3 years in Agile environments.
• Proven experience delivering financial system implementations or related IT projects.
• Strong understanding of financial products, services, and regulatory compliance (FAIS, FICA).
• CSM or PSM certification is required.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Lead agile development teams in planning, execution, and delivery of financial system projects.
• Facilitate sprint ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives).
• Manage scope, timelines, budgets, and resources in line with Agile principles.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and dependencies.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to define requirements.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry standards in delivered software.
• Track progress, report metrics, and communicate updates to senior management.
