Placements24 seeks an accomplished University Lecturer in Accounting in Kimberley, in a hybrid role that blends on-campus teaching with remote administration and research. You will teach undergraduates and postgraduates, supervise student research, and contribute to curriculum development.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Accounting, a PhD is highly desirable, and professional accounting qualifications are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from a recognised institution.
• PhD is highly desirable.
• Professional accounting qualification (CA(SA), ACCA, CIMA) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver lectures and seminars in accounting subjects.
• Design syllabi, materials, and assessments aligned with standards.
• Conduct research and publish in journals.
• Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research.
• Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum reviews, and committees.
• Provide academic advising and mentorship.
• Engage in professional development and pedagogy.
