Placements24 is seeking a Senior Accounting Educator to lead the Accounting department for FET phases at a reputable educational institution in Klerksdorp, North West. The role focuses on delivering high-quality accounting education, curriculum development, and mentoring junior educators.

The ideal candidate has a relevant accounting degree, PGCE, SACE registration, and at least 5 years of FET teaching experience, with a strong track record in NSC preparation and supporting career development in

• Degree with specialization in Accounting.
• Professional teaching qualification (PGCE) and SACE registration.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience teaching Accounting at the FET level.
• In-depth knowledge of FET Accounting curriculum and NSC exam requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver Accounting instruction for FET phase per national curriculum standards.
• Develop and update lesson plans, materials, and assessments for effective knowledge transfer.
• Prepare students for NSC examinations with a focus on high pass rates and distinctions.
• Mark internal and external assessments and provide constructive feedback.
• Mentor and guide junior accounting educators and share best practices.
• Collaborate with the school's finance department and career guidance counselors.
• Maintain accurate student records and communicate progress to students, parents, and management.
