Job summary

Mycareercraft is seeking a dynamic HR Manager to join the client leadership team in Johannesburg. You will lead all HR functions, act as a strategic HR business partner to executives, and manage employee relations and CCMA representation, ensuring compliance with South African labour legislation and EE/BBBEE requirements.

The role requires a strong command of labour law, a passion for people development, and the ability to drive meaningful change across a growing organisation.

Qualifications

• Degree in HR, Industrial Psychology or related field (NQF Level 7+)
• 5–8 years generalist HR experience, with 2–3 years in a management role
• In-depth knowledge of South African labour legislation
• CCMA and complex ER experience
• Experience with HRIS systems (Sage People, PaySpace, SAP or similar)
• SABPP registration or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead all HR functions: recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and L&D
• Act as strategic HR business partner to executive and senior management
• Manage employee relations, disciplinary/grievance processes, and CCMA representation
• Ensure compliance with LRA, BCEA, EEA, SDA, POPIA and all applicable legislation
• Drive Employment Equity planning and BBBEE HR pillar compliance
• Oversee payroll input and administer employee benefits and compensation
• Compile and submit WSP/ATR to the relevant SETA
