Job summary

MyCareerCraft is seeking a dynamic HR Manager to join our client leadership team in Gauteng. The role demands a deep command of SA labour law and a strategic, people-centered approach to HR.

You will lead recruitment, onboarding, performance management, L&D, employee relations, and CCMA matters while ensuring compliance with LRA, BCEA, EEA, SDA, POPIA. Payroll input and benefits administration are also part of the remit.

Qualifications

• Degree in HR, Industrial Psychology, or related field (NQF Level 7+).
• 5–8 years' generalist HR experience, with 2–3 years in a management role.
• In-depth knowledge of South African labour legislation - non-negotiable.
• Proven CCMA and complex ER experience.
• Experience with HRIS systems (Sage People, PaySpace, SAP, or similar).
• SABPP registration or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all HR functions: recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and L&D.
• Act as strategic HR business partner to executive and senior management.
• Manage employee relations, disciplinary/grievance processes, and CCMA representation.
• Ensure compliance with LRA, BCEA, EEA, SDA, POPIA and all applicable legislation.
• Drive Employment Equity planning and BBBEE HR pillar compliance.
• Oversee payroll input and administer employee benefits and compensation.
• Compile and submit WSP/ATR to the relevant SETA.
