About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to serve as a strategic partner to business leaders in Durban . This role is integral to aligning HR strategies with business objectives, fostering employee engagement, and driving organizational effectiveness. The HRBP will work closely with assigned business units to understand their needs, provide expert HR guidance, and implement programs that support talent development, performance improvement, and overall business success. You will be a key liaison between the HR department and the operational teams, ensuring HR initiatives are effectively communicated and adopted.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business unit leaders to identify HR needs and develop strategic solutions that support organizational goals.
• Provide expert counsel and support on employee relations, performance management, talent development, and organizational design.
• Lead and implement HR initiatives, including talent acquisition, retention strategies, and change management programs.
• Facilitate talent reviews and succession planning discussions to identify and develop high-potential employees.
• Analyze HR metrics and trends to provide insights and recommendations to business leaders.
• Ensure HR policies and practices are applied consistently and in compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in a Human Resources Business Partner role or similar.
• Proven experience in employee relations, talent management, and organizational development.
• Strong understanding of South African employment law and HR best practices.
• Excellent influencing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
