Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive HSE Officer for our client in Queenstown to uphold health, safety and environmental performance across oil & gas operations. You will conduct risk assessments, implement policies, investigate incidents, and promote a strong safety culture.

The role requires NEBOSH/NOSA or equivalent, 4+ years in HSE, and strong communication skills. You will support regulatory compliance and provide training to staff and contractors to minimize risk.

Qualifications

• Develop, implement, and monitor health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.

• Sound knowledge of HSE legislation, standards, and best practices.
• Experience in risk assessment, hazard identification, and incident investigation.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
