Job summary

Advtech in South Africa seeks an experienced helpdesk analyst to deliver first-line support across People and Payroll apps, including SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and payroll platforms. You will log, track, and coordinate timely resolutions while guiding users and maintaining service quality.

The role requires knowledge of payroll/people systems, strong communication, and confidentiality handling; ITIL/SuccessFactors exposure is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in service desk, IT support or payroll administration.
• Working knowledge of payroll/HCM systems at end-user level.
• ITIL 4 Foundation and SAP SuccessFactors exposure are advantages.
• Ability to handle confidential personal or financial information.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st level support on assigned applications within SLA.
• Monitor and manage application/system problems.
• Assist with daily administration tasks (checks, maintenance, upgrades).
• Provide clear verbal and written reports for failure investigations and resolutions.
• Administer the Access Control System and update user rights.
