Job summary

Yazoo Recruitment seeks an HR Learning & Development Specialist for a Financial Services client in Bryanston, Johannesburg. The role combines L&D ownership with HR generalist delivery to build business and sales capability.

You will develop learning content, run assessments, and deliver blended learning both face-to-face and virtually, while administering the Cornerstone LMS and maintaining learning records.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in HR, People Management, Industrial Psychology, or Learning & Development.
• Facilitator/assessor/moderator or skills development qualification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years HR experience with Learning & Development responsibilities.
• Broad HR Generalist exposure across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, engagement, HR admin and projects.
• Experience in sales/financial services or contact centre environment preferred.
• Experience in developing learning content, assessments, blended learning; facilitation face-to-face and virtual.
• Experience administering an LMS and maintaining reliable learning records; Cornerstone LMS advantageous.
• Sage 300 People or comparable HRIS experience preferred.
• Knowledge of South African employment legislation and fair HR practice.
• BBEEE development requirements and audits preparation.
• Experience producing management/EXCO-ready People or L&D reports.

We are looking for an Learning & Development and HR Generalist for a Financial Services Company based in Bryanston, Johannesburg.

Minimum Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, People Management, Industrial Psychology, Learning & Development essential
• Relevant facilitator, assessor, moderator or skills development qualification preferred
• Minimum 5 years’ HR experience with substantial hands‑on Learning & Development responsibilities required
• Broad HR Generalist exposure across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, engagement, HR administration and people projects required
• Experience in a sales, financial services or contact centre environment preferred
• Experience in developing learning content, assessments and blended learning interventions and facilitating face‑to‑face and virtual learning, required
• Experience administering and LMS and maintaining reliable learning records, Cornerstone LMS experience advantageous
• Sage 300 People or comparable HR information system experience preferred
• Practical knowledge of South African employment legislation, employee relations principles and fair HR practice, required
• Knowledge of BBEEE Development requirements and experience in preparing evidence for verification partners or audits, required
• Experience in producing management and EXCO-ready People or L&D reports, required
