Takealot.com, South Africa’s leading online retailer, seeks an HR Intern for our Cape Town Central Office. You will support onboarding, maintain HR records, and provide administrative HR support in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

This 18-month contract offers exposure to HR operations, dashboards, and engagement initiatives, with opportunities to learn from experienced professionals in a dynamic e-commerce setting.

Qualificações

• N6 certificate in Human Resource Management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) proficiency.
• Time management and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Data interpretation and presentation basics.
• Basic understanding of HR principles and practices.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.

Responsabilidades

• Support onboarding and induction processes for new employees to ensure smooth transitions.
• Help maintain and update employee records and HR information systems with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Provide general administrative support across HR and operations functions.
• Maintain and update operational trackers, spreadsheets and employee records with high accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support HR and operational objectives.
• Assist with preparation of HR reports, dashboards and management presentations.
• Support employee engagement initiatives and coordinate internal events and wellness programmes; contribute to HR policy development and SOPs.
• Assist with administrative support for disciplinary, grievance, and performance management processes.

Key Responsibilities

This is an 18-month contract position.
