Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an organized HR Coordinator to support the HR department in Vereeniging. The role focuses on maintaining employee records, assisting with recruitment, onboarding, and administering benefits while ensuring compliance with labour laws.

You will work with a supportive team in Gauteng, gaining exposure to various HR functions and developing your career in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Human Resources or Business Administration.
• 1-2 years of experience in an HR support or administrative role.
• Familiarity with South African labour legislation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic HRIS knowledge.
• Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HR information system.
• Assist in the coordination of the recruitment process, including posting jobs, scheduling interviews, and managing candidate communication.
• Process new hire paperwork and conduct initial onboarding administration.
• Support the administration of employee benefits and respond to basic employee inquiries.
• Help organize and coordinate HR-related training and development sessions.
• Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including filing, data entry, and preparing documentation.
