Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of South African labor law (BCEA, LRA, EEA, SDA, etc.) and related regulations.
• Proven experience in HR audits, risk assessments, and managing legal compliance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and update HR policies to ensure compliance with South African labor law and regulations.
• Conduct regular HR compliance audits and risk assessments; recommend corrective actions.
• Advise leadership on complex compliance issues and policy interpretation.
• Implement new HR policies with effective communication and training across the organization.
• Oversee grievances, disciplinary actions, and investigations with fairness and legality.
• Monitor changes in labor legislation and industry trends; adjust policies as needed.
• Maintain relationships with legal counsel and regulatory bodies.
• Prepare reports on HR compliance status, risks, and mitigation strategies for senior management.
