Job Purpose

Key Performance Areas
Responsible for all administrative function related to performance management i.e Administer performance management processes and monitor compliance with performance review and assessment requirements; Administer and monitor employee probation processes; Compile HR reports and maintain accurate employee data records; Provide stakeholder support and facilitate HR-related communication; Perform administrative functions related to the management of PERMIS; Perform necessary administrative functions on PERSAL (capturing of payments and confirmation of probation).
Knowledge of the following: Performance Management and Development System (PMDS), and all other performance related Directives, Resolutions; Probation Management; Public Service Act and Regulations; DPSA Performance Management prescripts and frameworks; PERSAL and PERMIS systems; Labour relations principles as they relate to performance; Records management and reporting requirements; WCG governance and compliance requirements. Skills in the following: Numeracy; Literacy; Language; Planning and organisation; Strong administrative and organisational skills; Verbal and written communication skills; Report writing and basic data analysis; Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, databases); Attention to detail and accuracy; Problem-solving and planning skills; Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Remuneration
R 237 453 per annum (Salary level 5)
Note on remuneration: Cost-to-employer (CTE) remuneration packages for certain occupation-specific dispensations (OSD), the middle-management service (MMS) and contract positions are inclusive of all costs related to service benefits or obligations including basic salary, 13th cheque, medical assistance, housing assistance, pension-fund contributions, etc. MMS remuneration packages are flexible and may be individually structured as prescribed. Where remuneration is not indicated as CTE, employees' service benefits or obligations are funded or co-funded in terms of the applicable prescripts or collective agreements.
