Job summary

Village n Life is seeking a commercially driven Hotel Sales Executive to grow our trade business across a portfolio of hotels and retreats. You will manage and develop an assigned portfolio of trade partners, identify new business opportunities and drive production across the group.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in hospitality sales, strong B2B acumen, and the ability to close deals while maintaining excellent relationships with tour operators and travel agents.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in sales or business development, ideally in hospitality or travel.
• Strong B2B sales focus with proven account management and closing ability.
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of Cape Town and SA travel trade is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Build and grow relationships with tour operators, travel agents and trade partners.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales and revenue targets.
• Identify new business and growth opportunities within existing accounts.
• Conduct sales calls, presentations and product training.
• Host site inspections and property visits.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate rates and manage trade agreements.
• Segment and manage accounts by production and growth potential.
• Represent Village n Life at trade shows, events and familiarisation trips.
• Keep trade partners informed of offers and product developments.
• Maintain CRM records and monitor account performance.
• Analyse revenue, room nights, market trends and competitor activity.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Revenue, Reservations and Operations to convert opportunities into business.
• Participate in Lead Host rotation to support guest journey and leadership presence.
