Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years in engineering/maintenance or related field; HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing training.
• Alternative: 2-year degree in Building and Construction or related major; 1 year experience; HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing training.

Responsibilities

• Manages the physical plant including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and equipment.
• Ensures regulatory compliance with facility regulations and safety standards.
• Develops long-term preventive maintenance plans and asset protection strategies.
• Controls heat, light and power; recommends energy-conserving practices.
• Develops project plans and oversees bids and contractor work for renovations or new builds.
• Maintains grounds, guestrooms, public spaces, restaurants and recreational facilities.
• Keeps licenses and certifications current; maintains life-safety systems.
• Demonstrates leadership in guest hospitality and service excellence.
• Monitors guest feedback and drives corrective actions to improve satisfaction.
