Job summary

Amana Living is seeking a Kitchenhand based at Kinross Care Centre, Beach House in Kinross. This part-time role supports meal preparation, ensures kitchen hygiene, and helps create a warm, homely atmosphere for residents through meals.

You will work 24 hours per fortnight with shifts scheduled in Week 1 & 2, helping plate, serve and clear meals, while maintaining stock, records and resident interactions in line with our values. Induction is provided.

Qualifications

• Evidence of current Flu vaccination per Amana Living policies.
• Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6-months validity)
• Successful completion of pre-employment medical and reference checks
• Proven organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team, as required
• Willingness to attend 2 day paid induction at our Rivervale Training Institute

Responsibilities

• Prepare and plate food, serve and clear away meals in line with food preparation schedules.
• Maintain the food preparation and serving areas to state hygiene standards.
• Maintain appropriate resident interactions in line with the organizational values.
• Consider resident lifestyles and personal choice.
• Maintain effective interpersonal relationships with others.
• Collect all temperature and cleaning records for the week and place in managers basket for checking and signing.
• Record any dietary changes on master print out.
• Check on stock requirements, e.g. bread, milk, OJ, yoghurt and change as necessary.
• As required replenish shopping supplies which are specific and not currently available from usual supplier.

This is a Part time role offering 24 hours per fortnight.

Week 1 & 2

Wednesday: 15:00-19:00

Thursday: 15:00-19:00

Friday: 15:00-19:00
