Job description

Hire Resolve's client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Hospital Manager to join their healthcare team in Ballito, KZN. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strong strategic, professional and managerial leadership for all aspects of health service operations at the relevant Hospital. Implementing the operations strategy, monitoring and managing operational performance, and overseeing the delivery of effective facilities management at the Hospital. Authority and accountability for the safe and effective delivery and performance of day-to-day clinical services and departments at the Hospital.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the hospital’s strategic operational plan.
• Participate in management teams and ensure good corporate governance.
• Build and maintain relationships with JMH Group executives and external stakeholders.
• Ensure efficient and fit‑for‑purpose clinical support services.
• Source and recruit new specialist doctors as needed.
• Identify and act on business growth and marketing opportunities.
• Lead branding and loyalty initiatives aligned with the JMH Group.
• Manage and forecast the hospital’s budget and ensure sound financial practices.
• Work with HR to foster inclusivity, transformation, and staff development.
• Oversee policy development and ensure consistent delivery of high‑quality patient care.
• Implement JMH Group policies, procedures, and facility management services.
• Ensure all capital projects meet compliance, strategic goals, and service standards.
• Promote a culture of professionalism and high standards among hospital staff.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience in the healthcare sector.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership in a senior management role in healthcare.
