MSP Staffing (PTY) LTD is seeking a Civil/Structural Technician/Technologist in Gauteng with strong experience across civil and structural engineering, draughting, design and project management, including exposure to mining, industrial and infrastructure projects.

Candidates should have 8–10+ years’ experience, a National Diploma or BSc/BSc Honours/Master’s in Civil/Structural Engineering, and proven AutoCAD / structural modelling and design skills.

Qualificações

• Education: National Diploma, BSc/BSc Honours or Master’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognised university.
• Strong experience in AutoCAD / structural modelling and design.
• Experience within mining, heavy industrial and social housing projects will be advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Civil and structural draughting, design and modelling, including heavy industrial projects.
• Mining structures, including conveyors, headgears and associated structures.
• Structural audits and technical report writing for plants, mines, shafts, headgear, conveyors and buildings.
• Remedial works and refurbishment of concrete and steel structures.
• Prepare RFQ documentation, including Bills of Quantities and detailed Scopes of Work.
• Manage projects from inception through to completion.
• Liaise directly with clients, contractors and other project stakeholders.
• Assist with technical assessments, structural inspections and project reporting.

Our client is looking for an experienced Civil / Structural Technician / Technologist to join their team. The successful candidate will have strong experience across civil and structural engineering, draughting, design and project management, with exposure to mining, industrial and infrastructure projects.

Requirements:

8–10+ years’ experience in civil and structural engineering.

Education: National Diploma, BSc/BSc Honours or Master’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognised university, preferably University of Johannesburg, University of Pretoria, Wits or University of Cape Town.

Strong experience in AutoCAD / structural modelling and design.

Experience within mining, heavy industrial and social housing projects will be advantageous.

Responsibilities:

Civil and structural draughting, design and modelling, including:

• Heavy industrial projects
