Placements24 is seeking an Automotive Performance Specialist to join our client’s Rustenburg team. You will enhance vehicle performance through engine tuning, ECU remapping, and aerodynamic upgrades, working with high-performance vehicles and advanced tuning tools.

You will conduct dyno testing, analyze data, and advise clients on tailored performance options while ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. This role offers a dynamic, expert environment.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience as an Automotive Performance Specialist or similar role.
Expertise in engine management systems and performance tuning software.
Proficiency with dynamometers and other performance testing equipment.

Responsibilities

Design and implement engine tuning strategies, including ECU remapping and performance chip installation.
Install and configure performance suspension systems, brakes, and exhaust modifications.
Conduct dyno testing to measure and analyze vehicle performance, making adjustments as needed.
Advise clients on performance enhancement options tailored to their specific needs and vehicle types.
Research and stay abreast of the latest performance parts, technologies, and tuning techniques.
Ensure all modifications comply with relevant regulations and performance standards.
