Job summary

Express Employment Professionals Vaal Triangle is seeking a driven Truck Sales Specialist in Kempton Park to identify, establish and grow truck sales within the region, with a focus on Extra Heavy Commercial Vehicles and the DAF range. You will work with the Sales Manager to develop growth plans and secure new business.

The role requires at least 3 years of sales experience in fleets, a Grade 12 or equivalent, and relevant diplomas.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Marketing and Sales management diploma advantageous.
• Diploma in Transport Management advantageous.
• Minimum of 3 years sales experience focused on fleets and extra heavy vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Identify, establish and grow truck sales within the assigned region, focusing on DAF trucks.
• Work with the Sales Manager/Director to develop product strategy and growth plans.
• Achieve agreed sales targets and business plans.
• Grow truck sales through identified market segments and channels.
• Assist in selecting and specifying trucks to meet customer specs; coordinate with technical manager.
• Develop truck sales application knowledge and build relationships with decision makers.
• Track and report sales and financial performance for truck sales.
• Liaise with financial institutions to facilitate customer finance packages.
• Negotiate with body builders, hydraulic suppliers and trailer manufacturers.
• Ensure paperwork is completed for delivery and conduct hand-over per DAF standards.
• Keep up with DAF E-Campus training modules.
