Job summary

Zoomlion South Africa is seeking a motivated Sales Specialist for our Heavy Equipment division in the Eastern Cape. You will focus on promoting agricultural, construction and mining equipment while building strong relationships with new and existing clients.

Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of heavy equipment sales experience, strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach. A reliable vehicle and laptop are required to travel for meetings and events.

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 is required; tertiary education is an advantage.
• At least 2 years sales experience in heavy equipment (yellow machinery).
• Technical aptitude for machinery specifications and applications.
• Knowledge of construction or heavy equipment industries.
• Strong communication, superb interpersonal skills and commitment to customer service.

Responsibilities

• Meet monthly sales targets and achieve pipeline & collections goals.
• Prospect, qualify and generate new leads to support product lines (business units).
• Contact prospective clients through calls and visits to promote company’s products and services.
• Build and maintain relations with new and existing clients.
• Maintain & update activities on CRM.
• Monitor industry competitors, new products and market conditions to understand customer’s specific needs.
• Prepare and submit weekly reports to line manager.
• Participate in trade shows, exhibitions and industry events.
