Job summary

BSZAOT - OTRACO SOUTHERN AFRICA seeks a Health and Safety Coordinator to provide essential administrative, reporting, systems, and compliance support for Off-the-Road mining operations. You will coordinate information across sites, branches, and departments, ensuring reporting, SHEQ processes, digital systems, and documentation are maintained on schedule.

Ideal candidates will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 National Senior Certificate
• A valid drivers license
• Related industry field certificates or relevant experience
• 4 years+ Off the Road (OTR) earthmoving experience
• Broad base workplace safety experience – NOSA certificate accepted only
• Strong administration, organisation, and time-management skills
• Reporting, data analysis, and information management
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business systems
• Systems administration, user support, and training
• Knowledge of HSEQ, incident management, and compliance processes
• Documentation control and records management
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Graphic design, presentation, and communication material development
• Problem-solving and process improvement abilities
• Ability to work independently and across multiple departments
