Job summary

Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking a Health Merchandiser for the Musgrave store to sustain merchandising standards and provide outstanding customer service.

You will restock, organize stock, and ensure shelves are fully stocked with accurate pricing while maintaining displays.

Qualifications

• Must have Grade 12 / Matric and up to 6 months’ retail experience.
• Must be computer literate – MS Office.
• Willing and able to work retail hours.

Responsibilities

• Restock merchandise as per business requirements.
• Ensure stock is stored and packed in the correct space.
• Maintain full range of products on shelves at all times.
• Rotate stock on a First In First Out basis.
• Assist with general stocktaking.
• Keep front shop shelves neat with correct labels and pricing.
• Maintain merchandising displays and stock in store room and on shop floor.
• Assist with back shopping and resolve customer stock queries.

Job description

Dis-Chem Pharmacies require a Health Merchandiser for their Musgrave store. Your responsibilities lie in ensuring Dis-Chem’s basic merchandising standards are properly executed and maintained. Provide customers with outstanding customer service.

Minimum Requirements:

Essential:

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Up to 6 months’ retail experience
• Computer literate – MS Office
• Willing and able to work retail hours

Advantageous:

• Diploma or degree within the Health Focus category
• At least 1 year retail experience

Job Specification:

• Restock merchandise as per business requirements.
• Ensure delivered stock/stock pulled from the store room, is stored and packed in the correct space.
• Ensure full range of products is on the shelves at all times.
• Facilitate rotation of stock on a regular, First In First Out basis.
• Assist with general stocktaking.
• Ensure front shop shelves and products are neatly presented and visible at all times, with correct labels and pricing.
• Ensure merchandising displays are built, faced up, stocked and maintained.
• Maintain daily physical upkeep of store and merchandise displays, and be responsible for your designated stock in the store room as well as on the shop floor.
• Assist with back shopping.
• Ensure all customer stock queries are dealt with and resolved.
