Job summary

Dis-Chem Pharmacies Mossel Bay is seeking an experienced Health Merchandiser to uphold merchandising standards and deliver outstanding customer service on the shop floor.

You will restock merchandise, rotate stock FIFO, keep displays neat, ensure shelves are fully stocked with correct labels and pricing, and assist with stocktaking while helping customers.

Qualifications

• Restock merchandise as per business requirements.
• Ensure stock is stored and packed correctly.
• Ensure full range of products is on the shelves at all times.
• Facilitate rotation of stock on a FIFO basis.

• Ensure shelves are neatly presented with correct labels and pricing.

• Willing and able to lift heavy boxes and adhere to health and safety standards.

Dis-Chem Pharmacies is looking for an experienced Health Merchandiser for their Mossel Bay store. Your responsibilities lie in ensuring Dis-Chem’s basic merchandising standards are properly executed and maintained. Provide customers with outstanding customer service.

Minimum Requirements…

Essential:

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Up to 6 months’ retail experience
• Computer literate – MS Office
• Willing and able to work retail hours

Advantageous:

• Diploma or degree within the Health Focus category
• At least 1 year retail experience

Job Specification…

• Restock merchandise as per business requirements.
• Ensure delivered stock/stock pulled from the store room, is stored and packed in the correct space.
• Ensure full range of products is on the shelves at all times.
• Facilitate rotation of stock on a regular, First In First Out basis.
• Assist with general stocktaking.
• Ensure front shop shelves and products are neatly presented and visible at all times, with correct labels and pricing.
• Ensure merchandising displays are built, faced up, stocked and maintained.
• Maintain daily physical upkeep of store and merchandise displays, and be responsible for your designated stock in the store room as well as on the shop floor.
• Assist with back shopping.
• Ensure all customer stock queries are dealt with and resolved.
