Nile Fresh (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Head of Trading to own the commercial strategy and profitability of the Fresh Produce division. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team, build deep relationships with buyers and farmers, and drive growth with disciplined execution across supply and demand.

You will partner with product, operations and founders to scale trading challenges into scalable solutions, maintain financial discipline, and push for continuous improvement in marketplaces and customer

Formación

• Experience: 10+ years in commercial, sales or trading roles, with at least 5 in senior leadership.
• Leadership: Proven track record leading managers and multi-layered teams.
• Commercial: Full P&L ownership; strong command of gross profit and working capital.
• Relationships: Credibility with senior buyers, commercial farmers and executives.
• Data/tools: Runs the business from data and dashboards; quick to adopt new tools including AI.
• Education: Relevant tertiary qualification preferred.
• Mobility: Willing to travel regularly.
