Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Senior Spa Operations Manager for a flagship wellness retreat in Klerksdorp, North West. The role combines on-site oversight with remote strategic planning, financial analysis, and team coordination to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The ideal candidate has extensive spa management experience, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the wellness industry in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in spa management or related leadership role.
• Proven track record of successful operational management and staff leadership.
• Strong understanding of spa treatments, product lines, and wellness trends.
• Excellent financial acumen, including budgeting and P&L management.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day spa operations ensuring seamless service and guest experiences.
• Develop and implement policies to enhance efficiency, safety, and client satisfaction.
• Manage staff scheduling, training, performance evaluations, and development.
• Control budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost-saving measures.
• Manage spa product/inventory and relationships with suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Collaborate with management on strategic planning, marketing, and forecasting.
• Maintain the spa's reputation in Klerksdorp and surrounding area.
