Job summary

Mr D is seeking a seasoned Head of Product to join its executive leadership team in Cape Town. This role will oversee the product teams responsible for the customer experience of Mr D on mobile apps and web.

The role will work closely with engineering, operations, and executive teams to bring new features to market. This position reports to the Takealot Group CPO and Mr D CEO and will be responsible for managing a team of 10+ Product Managers who oversee the Mr D customer experience and various

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or Advanced Diploma in a relevant field.
10+ years of product management experience or relevant exposure.
At least 3 years of experience managing a team.

Responsibilities

Define and drive product strategy and roadmaps for Mr D customer experience across mobile apps and web.
Lead the product team, ensuring alignment with company values and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, operations and executives.
Translate business objectives into a product vision for multiple verticals using data sources.
Oversee delivery of feature roadmaps for customer-facing and internal tools used in merchandising and marketing.
Establish KPI definitions and track performance to inform product decisions.
