Placements24 seeks a Director of Outdoor Adventure Programs to lead an extensive range of activities around Kimberley. You will design, implement, and oversee all aspects of programming, ensuring top safety standards while managing staff and equipment.

The role demands a seasoned outdoor enthusiast with strong leadership and a passion for connecting people with nature. The position includes budget oversight, staff supervision, and collaboration with marketing to maximize participant engagement

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in managing outdoor adventure or recreation programs.
• Wilderness First Responder (WFR) or equivalent advanced first aid certification is essential.
• Experience with risk management and developing safety policies for outdoor activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a diverse portfolio of outdoor adventure programs, ensuring safety and quality.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate a team of outdoor program leaders and guides.
• Establish and enforce rigorous safety protocols, risk management plans, and emergency procedures.
• Manage the budget for outdoor programs, including staffing, equipment purchase, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with marketing to promote programs and ensure high participant engagement and satisfaction.
