Placements24 is recruiting for a prominent financial services institution in Pretoria to appoint a Head of IT Infrastructure. This senior role designs, implements, and maintains the company’s IT backbone, ensuring security, scalability, and reliability.

You will lead a skilled IT team, manage vendor relations, and drive strategic projects to modernize technology, while aligning with business goals in a hybrid work model and budget oversight.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Advanced degree or relevant certifications (ITIL, CISSP, CCIE) are highly desirable.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee strategic planning, design, and implementation of IT infrastructure (networks, servers, storage, cloud).
• Lead IT infrastructure team and mentor staff for high performance.
• Ensure security, availability, and performance of all IT systems and components.
• Develop and manage IT infrastructure budgets and optimize costs.
• Establish disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
