Placements24 is partnering with a dynamic primary school in Klerksdorp, North West, to recruit a Head of Foundation Phase for Grade R to Grade 3. This role centers on curriculum oversight, staff development, and cultivating a nurturing, stimulating environment for early learners.

The successful candidate will lead curriculum alignment with national standards, manage recruitment and professional development, and strengthen home-school partnerships to support foundational learning excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education (Foundation Phase).
• At least 8 years of Foundation Phase teaching experience.
• 3+ years in leadership or management role.
• Curriculum development, implementation, and assessment experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and management for the Foundation Phase teaching team.
• Oversee Foundation Phase curriculum development and alignment with standards.
• Monitor teaching and learning, offering guidance to educators.
• Recruit, induct, and develop Foundation Phase staff.
• Foster safe, inclusive learning environment and home-school partnerships.
