Job summary

Communicate Finance is seeking a seasoned Head of Finance to lead the finance function within a growing South African business. You will own budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and financial planning, while shaping the commercial agenda with the leadership team.

Responsibilities include monthly management accounts, board reporting, financial strategy, and ensuring statutory compliance. The role offers a collaborative, growth-focused environment with long-term development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial acumen with ability to influence decisions.
• Excellent financial reporting, forecasting and analytical skills.
• Proven experience leading finance teams and the full finance function.
• Experience in a growing or entrepreneurial business is advantageous.

• Partner with key stakeholders across the business to support strategic initiatives

Requirements:

• CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent finance qualification
• 8+ years' experience in a senior finance leadership role
• Proven experience leading finance teams and managing the full finance function
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence business decisions
• Excellent financial reporting, forecasting, and analytical skills
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities
• Experience within a growing or entrepreneurial business environment advantageous
