Job summary

Nedbank is seeking a senior leader to drive enterprise scheduling, workload automation and batch automation capability. You will own strategy, roadmap, architecture and service evolution, ensuring available, scalable, secure processing with strong governance.

You will partner with technology and business teams to deliver automation across DevOps pipelines, maintain resilience, and optimise costs while guiding a capable team through complex environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise technology or IT operations.
• 5+ years in leadership or senior management roles.
• Experience delivering automation, platform modernisation or operational transformation.
• Banking or financial-services exposure is advantageous.
• Experience managing enterprise scheduling, workload automation, platform engineering or production operations.
• Strategic leadership and execution.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise Scheduling & Batch Automation strategy, roadmap and architecture.
• Ensure availability, performance, governance of scheduling platforms.
• Drive modernization toward workload automation and orchestration.
• Establish scheduling standards, policies and procedures.
• Lead the Scheduling & Batch Automation team and cross-functional collaboration.
• Partner with IT, operations, application, cloud and business teams.
