Nedbank is seeking an Automation Design Lead to govern enterprise automation design and ensure technical excellence across the life cycle. You will lead a team of automation professionals, collaborating with business and technology stakeholders to deliver scalable automation capabilities.

The role emphasizes governance, architecture alignment, and production readiness, with a focus on regulatory compliance and reuse of automation assets.

Qualifikationen

• 6-8 years' experience in IT application development.
• 5+ years' experience in Blue Prism development and enterprise automation.
• 3-5 years' experience leading or supervising technical teams.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale enterprise automation programmes.
• Experience managing multiple automation projects simultaneously.
• Experience within the Financial Services or Insurance industry.
• Exposure to cloud-based automation platforms and modern automation technologies.

Aufgaben

• Automation Solution Design & Governance: Lead the design and implementation of fit-for-purpose automation solutions across the enterprise.
• Facilitate automation discovery, assessment, and solution design processes.
• Review, approve, and sign off PDDs, SDDs, and development artefacts.
• Ensure automation solutions align with enterprise architecture, standards and governance.
• Oversee onboarding and production deployment of automation solutions.
• Evaluate and approve UAT outcomes with business stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain reusable automation assets, standards, and best practices.
• Technical Leadership: provide guidance on automation architecture, development standards and design.
• Benchmark and identify emerging technologies and best practices.
• Advise on automation strategy and platform optimization.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, risk, security and governance requirements.
• Team Leadership & Delivery Management: lead, coach, and mentor automation professionals.
