Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Solutions Architecture Manager to lead a team of senior engineers and solution architects in Germany. You will hire, develop, and coach talent, shaping a strategy to accelerate cloud adoption among Enterprise customers in Germany, with a focus on Power/Utilities, Healthcare, and Life Sciences.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and growing teams of senior technology professionals, ideally in customer facing roles.
• Speak, write, and read fluently in German and English at C1 level or above
• Experience architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider like Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.

Responsibilities

• Hire, on-board, train, and develop new Solutions Architects and Solution Architecture Managers; you should be an exceptional builder of great people.
• Coach Solutions Architects to conduct one-to-few and one-to-many technical sessions so they can transfer deep technical skills to customers who are considering or using AWS
• In partnership with account management teams, formulate and execute a customer-focused strategy to drive adoption of AWS focused on the Power/Utilities, Healthcare and Life Science industries
• Guide and prioritize the development of whitepapers, reference architecture, and other high-value customer facing guidance and best practices
• Own the technical strategy that will increase customer value and adoption of well-architected AWS solutions across Austrian customers.
• Drive Solutions Architecture initiatives across multiple geographies
• Act as a conduit and liaison between customers, service engineering teams and support
