Placements24 recruits for a leading independent school group in the Eastern Cape. The Head of Digital Learning will drive a strategic digital transformation across campuses, champion innovative pedagogy, and oversee budget, resources and staff development to elevate student outcomes.

Based in East London with a hybrid work model, the role partners with school leadership and IT, shaping a future-focused digital learning landscape for a K-12 network.

Formación

• Master's degree in Education Technology, Instructional Design, Educational Leadership, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in educational technology leadership or digital learning management, ideally in a K-12 setting.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing digital learning strategies.
• Deep understanding of LMS and current educational technologies.
• Strong leadership, planning, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and presentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement a comprehensive digital learning strategy for the organization.
• Lead the integration of educational technology tools and platforms into the curriculum.
• Provide strategic direction and leadership for all digital learning initiatives.
• Oversee the selection, implementation, and maintenance of educational software and hardware.
• Develop and deliver professional development programs for staff on digital pedagogy and tools.
• Support faculty in leveraging technology to enhance teaching and student engagement.
• Monitor emerging trends in educational technology and assess their potential application.
• Manage the digital learning budget and resources.
• Collaborate with IT to ensure seamless integration and support of digital infrastructure.
• Evaluate the impact of digital learning initiatives on student outcomes and institutional goals.
