About the Role

As theHead of Constructionatventoré, you’ll own the end-to-end execution of all construction projects across our international portfolio.

You will set the standards, processes and performance expectations that ensure every ventoré development is delivered on time, on budget and at extraordinary quality.

You will oversee local construction teams, partner closely with the Head of Architecture and be the critical operator who ensures we protect our timelines, costs and original design intent as we scale.

Core Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end construction delivery for all international projects ensuring timelines, budgets and quality standards are consistently met.
  • Oversee and guide the local site teams, setting clear reporting and escalation expectations.
  • Build and maintain detailed construction schedules, critical path plans and progress tracking for all active developments.
  • Establish rigorous budgeting and cost-control frameworks, working closely with the CEO and Head of Finance to maintain accurate cost-to-complete budgets.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Architecture to ensure design intent is protected during execution.
  • Lead contractor selection and management, including negotiation, contracting standards, performance monitoring and dispute resolution.
  • Implement consistent variation order processes, ensuring scope adjustments are approved outside of local construction teams and aligned with budget.
  • Conduct regular site visits to review quality, local health and safety standards are being met, progress and contractor performance.
  • Collaborate with the investment team to share site progress, risks and milestones to inform investor updates.
  • Perform post-mortems after each project to embed lessons and continuously improve delivery standards.
Experience
  • Proven track record leading construction teams and managing sub-contractors in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, BOQs, cost control, scheduling, risk management and quality assurance.
  • Experience working in or with emerging markets (SE Asia, Africa, Balkans, etc.) strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder-management skills - able to present to C-Suite and global partners.
  • Willingness to travel internationally and work across time-zones.

Work Eligibility & Location

This role is a remote role and includes regular international travel to development sites.

The appointment will initially be made on an independent contractor basis with a planned transition to an indefinite employment contract.
