About the Role

Our client is a premier recreational and sports facility located in the heart of Durban, KwaZulu-Natal , seeking an experienced and passionate Head of Aquatics Programs. This leadership position is responsible for the overall management, development, and execution of all aquatics‑related activities, including swimming lessons, competitive swim teams, water fitness classes, and lifeguard training. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive range of aquatics programs for all age groups and skill levels.
• Oversee the daily operations of the aquatic facilities, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and emergency procedures.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and schedule a team of qualified lifeguards, swim instructors, and aquatic staff.
• Manage program budgets, including forecasting expenses, monitoring expenditures, and seeking opportunities for revenue generation.

• Ensure the cleanliness, maintenance, and safe functioning of all aquatic equipment and facilities.

Requirements
